"It is
not how much you do but how much love you put into the doing and
sharing with others that is important."
-- Mother Teresa
Many items are
needed for preemies and babies, as well as Senior Citizens, in
so many homes and hospitals around the United States, Canada
& Australia. Just think what a difference we could
make if we all could send just one item for each of these
projects! Project Information is listed in order according
to mailing due date. For more information on these
charities, you can email the coordinator personally. Their
email addresses are listed below next to the projects they are
coordinating.
These are our
community projects for 2009. If you have a charity you would
like ATCT to sponsor, please contact us by
sending us a message.

Items Needed:
Afghans, sized 42 x 60
or 7-inch granny squares, any color and design (please
measure your squares so that they are indeed 7-inches
square!). |
|
Big Bend Hospice of North Florida is in
need of afghans sized 42" x 60" or 7-inch granny squares
that can be put together into afghans.
Because the patients are not ambulatory they don't go
outside. Big Bend Hospice gives all new patients
an afghan when they sign up, and then the family will
have a memento when the patient passes.
For information on where to send your
afghan or squares, please contact Pat directly at
pat1471@embarqmail.com or by
sending us a message. Also, when you send your
package, please notify Pat so she can be on the lookout
for it and notify you when it has arrived. |
